AFS Difference: World Recognition

Dimension One and AFS are proud to have been recognized by Spasearch as a Certified manufacturer for five years in a row! Started in 2007, the Spasearch Certified program is administered by an impartial third-party auditing firm and seeks to identify the best hot tub manufacturers in North America. Only manufacturers who meet rigorous customer satisfaction requirements are honored with the Spasearch Certified label. Dimension One and AFS have made the grade every year the program has been in existence!

AFS was awarded the Stevie Award for “Best Customer Service Team” in the 2005 American Business Awards™. Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post, The American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring excellence. In winning the Stevie, AFS beat out other finalists including Enterprise Fleet Services and T-Mobile Wireless. More than 1,200 nominations from companies of all sizes in virtually every industry were submitted.

In our first year in the aqua fitness, aerobics and swim-in-place market, the AFS received the Society of Plastic Engineers’ highest accolade, its People’s Choice Award, for the innovative use of plastics in the AquaFit 19 Dual Temp aquatic exercise system. The award was presented at the Society’s Thermoforming Parts Competition and Exhibition. “Receiving the People’s Choice Award is an honor,” said Bob Hallam, AFS founder and CEO. “Our products are manufactured with the highest quality, and it’s especially gratifying to receive an award from such a highly regarded organization.” The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting technical knowledge and innovative use of plastics and plastics technology.

Bob Hallam, AFS owner and CEO, won the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2004 for entrepreneurial vision and many wide-ranging achievements.

In 2004 the AFS won the Exporter of the Year Award from the San Diego World Trade Center in recognition of our significant growth in product exports to international markets.

Awarded the 2005 Inspire Award from the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP), recognizing our leadership and innovation in the industry.
